This page simply outlines the process around a Parish Visitation.
- You should ensure that documents, registers, policies etc. are available and up to date, and that items which should be on public display are so. Completing this stage will enable the visitation to proceed much more smoothly
- You should complete the Parish Information Form and return it to the Area Dean at least two weeks before the date of the Visitation. Clergy and churchwardens should involve others such as the Treasurer, PCC Secretary, Gift Aid Secretary, Leadership Team etc in completing this form. Please forward with this form a copy of the latest PCC Annual Report and Financial Statements, and any other documents that you feel might be useful (e.g. a Mission Action Plan).
- Please inform the wider congregation about the visitation and its purpose.
- Please see the Information and Guidance and Reference Notes for further, important information.
Many thanks for your help.
